Starting point: Alcaraván Airport or Hotel in Yopal.

End time – day 4: 18:00.
To keep in mind: The Natural Reserve Hato La Aurora is composed of 16 thousand hectares with areas of forests, savannahs and marshes.
The reserve offers a high probability of observing various species of wildlife, so every day will be focused on moving around the property and its various trails and routes enabled, in the different means of transport that are available (safari vehicle, horse, tractor, walking or sailing on the river).
The plan also includes the possibility of participating in the feline conservation talk given by the leader of this program in the reserve.
Moreover, at the Ecolodge you can enjoy a folkloric show of singing and dancing llanero, depending on the number of people staying.
Day 1: We will meet you at the airport or place in Yopal previously agreed.
Departure by 4×4 van to the Natural Reserve Hato La Aurora – Ecolodge Juan Solito.
You will be able to tell the driver if you need to stop at the ATM or make any kind of purchase before leaving.
During the trip you will be able to observe the beautiful landscapes of the plains, the fauna and the birds that are located near the road.
Arrival at the Reserve, specifically at the Ecolodge Juan Solito is stipulated around 12:00, where you will be welcomed with a cold drink and will be assigned to your room.
Afterwards you will have lunch with a beautiful view of the Ariporo River.
At 2:00 p.m. you will enter the natural reserve to explore its extensive plains.
You will return at 7:00 p.m. for dinner and rest.
Day 2: Sunrise around 5:30 a.m., coffee will be available and you will be able to walk the trails of the Ecolodge for bird watching.
Breakfast will be available from 6:30 in the morning.
Once you have eaten breakfast, you will be able to select a means of transportation and you will go into the more than 16,000 hectares that make up this natural reserve.
Lunch will be in a place close to the sector chosen for the day.
You will spend the whole day searching for animals and their tracks; you will return to the Ecolodge around 7:00 p.m. for dinner and rest. Day 3: A new morning, a new opportunity for bird watching and search for those animals that take advantage of the freshness of the first hours of the day.
Breakfast will be available from 6:30 am to later choose other sectors of the reserve and other means of transportation.
Lunch will be in a place close to the sector chosen for the day.

Recommendations
Wear comfortable, cool, quick-drying clothing, ideally in earth tones that allow for greater camouflage in the natural landscape.
Pants and long sleeve shirts.
Cap or hat (you can find an offer of hats in our allied store in Yopal “Sobreros Florentino”).
- Rubber or waterproof boots (depending on size and availability they can be supplied by us), and comfortable and safe closed shoes.
- Raincoat and dry bags for equipment.
